Ashley Cole Shocked & Upset To Hear Cheryl Cole Filed For Divorce

British football ace Ashley Cole was shocked and stunned when he came to know that his estranged wife, Cheryl Cole has filed for divorce.
Ashley, 29 who is in a training camp in Austria believed that his singer wife will never leave him even after Cheryl announced that she wants to divorce him.
According to sources, the sports star is sad with the news and could not believe that Cheryl can ever leave him. Reportedly, he said to his team-mates, “I thought Cheryl would never leave me”.
“The split has left Ashley in the pits. He thought he was invincible – Cheryl proved him wrong,” a close friend of Ashley quoted.
The close friend added, “Ashley believed because of the house and nearly four years of marriage, she wouldn’t give up and leave totally and so quickly.”
“He thought there would be another chance to sort things out. But the timing of Cheryl filing for divorce is no coincidence. While he is away and concentrating on the World Cup, there will be little opportunity for him to contact her. Ashley’s a broken man. But he knows he has a vital role in the England campaign,” the source said.
