Mobilink CEO – Nominated For WCA CEO Of The Year

President & CEO of Moblink Mr. Rashid Khan has been nominated for the award of CEO of the Year by World Communication Awards (WCA). Listed amongst the league of CEOs from the global telecommunications industry, Mobilink has the distinguished honor of being the only Pakistani operator to feature in the nominees.
Rashid Khan took over as CEO of Mobilink Pakistan in October 2008. He previously served as chief executive of Bangladeshi mobile operator Banglalink, also an Orascom company.
“In this moment of recession he has shown his skills to manage the sinking ship Mobilink and put it to road of success,” said one of Khan’s supporters.
“Excellent vision and knowledge of the industry with a vast experience in telecom industry,” added another.
Winners will be announced on 25th November, 2009 after a vigorous voting process through the WCA website where you can make your vote count.
